Born in Lutry, Switzerland in 1979, César Leonard Dentan Vienne lives and works between the calm of his native land and the vivid energy of southern Spain, where he spent much of his childhood. This duality—between stillness and intensity—infuses his artistic language.

Self-taught and constantly evolving, César expresses himself through both painting and sculpture, with an instinctive, open-ended approach. His works are bold and vibrant, marked by graphic contours, abstract forms, and layers of symbolism. Figures and silhouettes appear and dissolve, giving shape to emotional, dreamlike narratives.
